Hi Pete,
My thirty year old son is struggling, he has joked many times about being ADD. He is a very hard worker and is very good at his job.He struggled in school, went to BCIT and took their HVAC course. He graduated but did not pass his exams for his ticket. He has been employed with a good company and he has brought many new clients to the company because of his knowledge and very good work ethic. He has self medicated with drinking and drugs, he is working very hard to change that but finds life a struggle. He has a good wife and they would like to have children. I think he is overwhelmed, he does display many of the symptoms of ADD. He jokes around more and more about it, I would love to help him but where would he begin?
Hi Betsy, just sent you an email with a list of people in metro vancouver who can diagnose adhd. You might want to look at my post
